I know how you feel SS. We are going downhill in the fastest way!!! I have been on my dh for years telling him I want to move away from here. I want to go to Holland!!

Ah, I apologize if I took it wrong! I can understand wanting some sandy shores etc, though I love winter, crazy I know.

Its not cold where I live. People plant palm trees in their gardens and you can golf on Christmas Day, go fishing or sking is a four hour drive away. Spring flowers bloom in Feburary.
Lucky if we get snow.
Allot of transplant to this area complain that there is no real definition of seasons and they nick name it Lotus Land.

I have met three people this year that are moving to Panama. They said it is cheap living and relatively safe to live there. One person is building a massive horse faciltiy with a huge house, guest houses, rock walls, extensive landscaping and state of the art stables that the hired help will run. I have no idea but the humidity and heat would kill me.
I met a person who is moving to Chilie, they said with their pension they can live very well because the cost of living is so much less than Canada.

Sillystunt regarding you not liking the way the country is going - tell those elceted officials how you fell just watch out even Belize has a deficitgranted not trillions but they also hazve a lot less people right now
we need more people to take a stand against our elected officials - tell them what we want not what they want - lets shrink the trillion dollar deficit - I believe if more of us stood up we can -

Me? My grandfathers, on both sides, fought for this country. One that I am proud to call home, even if the current "elected officials" are running it into the ground. Would my grandpa be turning in his grave right now with the current state of affairs? YES! But, at this point, IMHO, I will stand right here on US soil because my grandfathers, and many other brave men and women before and since have fought and died for me to do so. God Bless America!!!
