i have 13 baby chicks that i ordered online. they are 3 weeks old now. 5 blue laced wyandotte, 4 americana and 4 ancona.
this is my first flock. i have them in large box in my bedroom as in has been to hot to put them outside in the coop. i live in the high
mountains of utah and i worry now that it might get to cold at night for them.!
on another hand, i am a great grandma of 7, have 3 chihuahuas and 1 daughter that lives with me.
in my younger years i was married to a professional rodeo cowboy and we also trained and run quarter horses.
looking forward to learning alot here.!

Hi there @my hennypenny It is a pleasure to meet you!
Welcome to BYC!

Hello and welcome to BYC! :frow

Congrats on your new chicks! I'd say they should be able to go our to the coop at 4 weeks for sure. Chicks are pretty tough and it's not yet getting below freezing yet.

Make yourself at home here and if you have any further questions, be sure to ask.

Welcome to our community!

Buongiorno from Italy! Welcome to BYC 😄 As long as their coop doesn't have a draft and they have plenty of bedding they should be fine.
