I am new to BY Chicken raising.

Thank you all for the wonderful welcome. I have separated the roo from the hens because he mounts them so much they have no feathers on their backs. This pic is from the top of the girls sitting in the nesting box. I need to know if it is ok to let them be together before the chick's hatch (or soon after)?View attachment 2699938View attachment 2699938
You need to put saddles on those poor girls! You need more girls for your sister so hopefully you'll get some from this hatch. Rehome the cockerels as they reveal themselves.
 
I was actually referring to having the Rooster separate from the hens. I separated them to allow the hens time to grow back the feathers on their backs
They won't grow back until the hens molt and if you keep him, he will just wear them off again. Your setup is too small for what you already have let alone what you have coming so you can't add more hens for him :(.
