Lately I have been getting a few blood spots in my eggs, my mom says it's because of my rooster, but I don't know to believe it, is it true?

Haha ok thank you I'll have to tell my mom to " take it from then chicken professionals "

I had blood spots in a very few of the eggs when my hens first started laying. It's something that happens when their reproductive systems are still working out the kinks.

Fiction not fact. Commercial egg production facilities candle for egg spots before selling eggs and most do not run roosters with their flocks. Egg spots are the result of tissue pieces sloughing off in the reproductive tract during the egg formation process.
