My parents have an Air Card and when they come and bring their laptop, they have to sit on the very end of the kitchen table to get service, my only option was Satellite.

In Pennsylvania anyone can get DSL if they petition for it. It is a law. After the appropriate number of petitions is filed with the phone company they have one year to install it. We are petitioning now.
We have cellular internet which is pretty fast but pricey.
