it cant possibly hurt!

I just checked in on the eggs again and I notice 2 had cracks in the large part of the shell... She pieces of shell are pointing outward... is that a pip or is that from the moving around they had? I didnt look over the eggs that well when it first happened but I havent noticed the eggs moving or chirping sence...

First off calm down you won't solve any of your issues by crying and freaking out, just get everything set back up, candle them reset the good ones toss the bad ones and move on. Sorry but I feel someone has to be the voice of reason and truly try to help instead of encouraging frantic non rational emotional behavior. I am sure their may be some eggs that will be a loss but you may be surprised to learn how many do actually hatch. Look at it this way you now have learned where and where not to put your incubator, hatching isn't always easy or fruitful, so just keep your chin up and you'll be fine, breath......... breath........... breath.

I cant candle the eggs.. I cant see anything the only time I am able to candle a Quail egg is the day its layed!

Right now I just want to know if what I just described was a pip or a crack from the battering they just took. thats all! the 2 that are cracked are the 2 that were really rocking earlier and the ones that I believe were chirping

pips should only be at the top (small end) becuase thats where the head is. candle them. see it its a pip or not! dont worry!

7 of my chicken eggs just hatched beautiful little chicks and not one pipped at the air sack. They all pipped in the middle. That was nerve wracking.

Good luck!

I think thats what I was trying to say because Quail eggs are a little rounder then chicken eggs. both are in the middle but not close to the smaller end of the egg like the one person said it being at the small end..
