Sometimes, the problem with the "relocate the predator" suggestions is this: most of the time, it is ILLEGAL to relocate, but is NOT illegal to swiftly dispose of that predator. There seems to be more of an issue than just the P&P thread. There are all kinds of people here on BYC and have many many different views. It's not the BYC it used to be that is for sure. There are ALOT of people posting to cause a reaction and my pet peves, people trying to post speaking from experience when it's very clear they have none, another is the smart answer when a newbie asks a question they don't know. That really turns people off to this forum, they come here to avoid the fighting on other places and to find some answers. I'm in full agreement, if you have nothing to contribute - key word contribute - "shut up". Voice your opinions is great, I learn something here every day. I think the Mods should step back and look at the big picture, how can you mod a thread when you are right in the middle? Following the rules to the letter is great and fine but in the process is it good for BYC? Why not take the threads that are for information back to information - look at what is posted and what is given, instead of "go back to your corner" when somebody is lying out their vent (in chicken terms) I also think the BYC members should take a step back, because I don't kill every snake I see doesn't make me a wacko. To be flat honest I like snakes over mice but that's just me. And I can voice that opinion and you will never see me talk anybody down for their views. I post on the P&P so it's their to see.

Arguing, debating, being disrespectful, and just being an idiot are all
things that I've seen come in cycles on BYC. It's almost a seasonal thing
that happens in the winter when the influx of new members join up and
start their journeys through BYC maturation.

I haven't seen a lot lately but a lot of people I like have been noticing
this same phenomena.


Best thing to do is not feed the trolls.

Admittedly I've been in the middle of many controversial threads, especially
my first year.


Now Cetawin needs to stop shooting every bird that flies over her house.
