During the day the incubator is pretty steady on 99.7F and 43% humidity.
This morning however, under a blanket otherwise it goes too cold, the temp was 102.3 and the humidity at 28%

Why??? Anyone??
It's a styrofoam incubator, home made obviously, air forced.

Mine did the same. Could be fluctuating room temperature.
102 won't kill them.
Make sure the blanket isn't blocking air holes.

Thanks!!

It's not, what about the humidity though, nothing serious when it goes down that low??
Humidity is fine... I hatch at 16% so you're doing ok. Go to walmart or wallgreens and buy the internal thermometer. one they use on babies foreheads, check your egg temp that way, also place more than one thermometer in. Another thing is how is your air flow direction? Straight across or is it blowing immediately against the wall. Some time too much air is not always good.

It's blowing up. From one bottom corner across to the other top corner. Diagonally.
I have 3 thermometers in there. A candy one, an outside one and a digital one. The candy one is what I used before, that one measures 4f lower than the other 2, which measure the same.
