In the Brooder
I used an Arduino, an LCD, an RHT sensor, a relay, and a heat lamp and it got the job done very nicely. Since I already had everything else, all I needed was the heat lamp. It's super cheap and super accurate (to within 0.1 degrees!). I'll be around Vancouver Hackspace on Sunday If you want to pop by, I'll teach you how to put together a really kickass incubator/brooder setup. Please send me a PM if you're keen so that I know to bring my incubator stuff with me!
Thankfully, I don't need a robot to incubate my eggs anymore because I now have The Perfect Incubator
, a.k.a. broody quail dad bum.
