my mom had a dog that was her first in years since her last one had passed away. and she also had a second one at the same time(though she was younger than the first) and when they were up at her friends house, her friends hubby came home with a load of rock on his truck and Crash ran out in front of him and was killed. he had no chance to stop. you can bet my mom's friend and her hubby felt just terrible about it. I remember how sad she was.. so i can see how sad you are. you have a right to be pitiful. many hugs to you on this small journey. everythign happens for a reason.
