I am SO SO SO dissapointed!!!

One bit of advice, even tho it turned against us with Andrew, you gotta tell the people that you want to hatch the eggs, because most of the people I talked to from CL sell "eating" eggs, and they are refrigerated.

You gotta make sure they hold them cool with big end up and all that.
Ive gotten from a few different folks, and have had tons of broken eggs because they just toss em in a big container in the fridge.

I bought eggs from 5 different people off CL over the past couple months, and Andrews were the only ones I could get to hatch, but like I said, I explained to him how and he actually did it.
I think alot of people that sell eggs dont realize that they can in fact be hatched(andrew didnt think I was serious when I first started talking to him) . . .

Andrew seemed really excited about my hatch when I talked to him about it.
I mean cmon, do ya have to tell mommy EVERYTHING?


Anyways, like I said, Id be happy to provide some hatching eggs when I get them, should be about 4 weeks or so, if evrything goes according to plan.

I saw that ad, Too funny! the guy I was talking with said he has jumbo coturnix, fertile eggs, he collects 120 per day, and will give me the freshest of the fresh. I explained about storing for hatching to him, and am still waiting for a response

Getting tired of flakers!! I last emailed him on saturday, so I may be a tad impatient! He's sellng for $5 a doz, I hope this one works out!

I can't believe my luck!!! I followed bettacreeks advice and checked out ebay. found 100 eggs up for bid and put down $13 and won!

Turns out the eggs are from... none other than... our very own JJMR!!!!

I feel so lucky! Now I'm off to borrow my sisters incubator so I can have both mine and hers running so I can fit them all!

JJ has some really good eggs I hatched out some of his 9 weeks ago I have already hatched eggs from those birds

Did you talk to Tim in Galt?
I think Imma buy some flats of chukar eggs off him, and in a month or so he will have flats of Valley eggs.
$1 an egg for valley and chukar, 50 egg flat minimum, didnt ask if he had coturnix- he a lisenced gamebird breeder
