I just wanted to post somewhere (hope this place is ok) how much I REALLY appreciate all the info, kindness and help from BYC. I have a pair of patridge wyandottes that never seemed to produce fertile eggs. Thanks to a wonderful tip on trimming around their vents( actually on a post a few years ago) I candled 6 eggs tonight and 5 were fertile!!! This is after probably 25 + infertile eggs. I am soooo thrilled to have recieved this small but valuable tip on the BYC forum. I can not thank everyone on BYC enough.
