I am right there with you.
I am afraid to go to the feed store. I have to go tomorrow to pick up more feed...I am so worried they are going to have some chicken that I want and I will have to get at least 2 of them.

HAHAH! Yes this is an addiction - I wanted to get a few cochin eggs for the incubator for DD to raise up and now I have 6 mix, 6 EE, 6+ cochin bantam, 4 EE Bantam + 2 bonus bantams, and 5 or 6 other cochin bantams - LOL can't just put 6 eggs in the bator!

WOW! ADDICTED and I'm not even getting eggs yet (AHAHAHAHAHAHA)

I am working on getting pics, but these 2 little girls are the sweetest little things!!! Little cuddle bugges!!! I amed them Dotyy and Lilly. Dotty is speckled..so the name fit. Lilly....easter Lilly...EE...lol...

It is an addiction... I started by ordering 25 chickens from a hatchery... but before they came I brought home a silkie, a cochin and a polish... Then since most of my first order was DOA I got a complete replacement order (which turned out to have 4 "packing peanuts!")... but before they came I got 2 more silkies and 2 more cochins... Needless to say I have almost 50 chickens now... and most of them are under a month old... and only one is laying (got my first egg yesterday!) Yes, I have a problem... but I LOVE IT! Hahaha!! I will be selling some of these in the fall!!!

Thank GOD my feed store doesn't sell chicks!!!

Oh this defintely is an addiction!!!!

I only wanted about 12. We started with 9, then I added 9 more because I wanted some different breeds the feed store didn't carry, and now I have 9 more coming in the mail because Ideal messed up my original order (sent me a straight run instead of pullets). Hmmm, never planned on 27.

I almost fell outta my chair!!!

They are going today you know! The only problem with that plan is that they will bring kittens with them!!!!
