Well I left for vacation on sunday. Before I left I checked my nests and counted eggs.
Well just now I saw my magpie off her nest - when i left she was sitting on 17 eggs. When I looked in her nest there were only 8!!!! I havent had an run in with snakes latelty , so im hoping I dont have one now.
Did she eat them? they werent i nthe lining of the nest. WHERE ARE THEY?! I mean thats 9 eggs missing.
I am so sad. I was ready for a bunch of little ducklings running around and now I only have 8 eggs?!
