I had 6 bantam eggs in the bator and none of them are fertile! How upsetting! 35 dollars down the drain!

bought them from a private seller who wont email or text or return calls had them in 8 to 9 days and they are clear as a bell no veins or anything...

I feel your pain.... I bought some eggs at a poultry show 1/2 bantam cochin & 1/2 silkie I did get a few fertile silkies but not one of the cochins were fertile... The worse part is that a young girl was bidding against me really raised up the price of the eggs.... Afterwards I asked which eggs she was looking for ... She said the bantam cochins.... Well I gave her 4 of them as I didn't really need more cochins .... I kept the 2 frizzle and 1 other.... all blanks .... I am hoping that the young girls eggs were fertile but as only 3 out of 8 of mine were I am not hopeful

So frustrating.... I know when my eggs are fertile!!!

if they advertiesed on line or like crigs list i would put a post up stating the fact that no only you got bad eggs but they will not even bother to repsond back to you and not to use them and esp if you see new adds from these people
