I am starting to dream about them...

I dreamed that someone had cut the height of my nest boxes in half, and created 2 of one. the eggs had all fallen onto the floor, and the 13 week old chicks had all become egg eaters.
There were also a couple of nests that had 5 or 6 little jelly-bean sized (and shaped) eggs in them ???

Upon discovering I had "lost control" of the coop, I promptly woke myself up. It was just too terrible!

The real hens were scratching and pecking in the yard, just as they always are. Coop was fine, and Mum felt like a bit of a nutter.

I already have chicken dreams and mine are not even outside in the coop yet! I can only imagine how the anxiety of their first night outside will manifest in my dreams. If I even sleep...

Mine usually involve them escaping through an open gate just as night is rapidly falling.
