Still nothing. I haven't heard anymore cheeping but, anytime I'm up it's because the kittens are paging me to feed them. They make so much noise I might not beable to hear the chicks anyway.

It's getting hard not to candle again. And if I were to and they aren't moving how would I know if they are just resting or passed anyway. So I guess it won't do me any good to candle. SIT ON HANDS!!!! SIT ON HANDS!!!! SIT ON HANDS!!!!

I would candle like you did last time...find one moving and stop.
The brower keeps heat really well just take one out at a time real quick and try not to turn it any more than you have to, then sit it back exactly like it was.

And if I find none moving? How do I know if they are just resting or passed? I know which one was cheeping last night and there was another one rocking so I could do those quick but, how do I know?

Well it's day 26 right? and you're positive about your dates?
I would leave the two you know about and candle the rest
the only other thing to try is the water test....but that's a bit harsh of a shock. But I would do the water test tomorrow morning day 27? wow

I found two pipped at the wrong and and they had passed. I couldn't see anything moving now I'm worried about them. What to do?

Hi Kity, I keep checking and sending positive vibes to those babies. How many eggs do you have in the bator at this time.

I have a question, Is there anything a person can do safely to help out a hatch prior to the chicks just dying and not hatching. I know kity if there is and you know of it you will do it. ANYONE else have any suggestions on when to intervene?

Could cracking an egg or slightly pipping it hurt?

There were a total of 12 that were in at day 18. The two that pipped at the wrong end are gone and I slowly opened one more. One that I knew was moving yesterday. No veins when I peeled the shell back and no movement from the chick. I'm thinking they may all be lost.
