I believe problem found!**Not looking good**

Never trust just one thermometer. I use a Fluker's digital, an old mercury bulb and a water wiggler with a probe. I start everything a week before I set the eggs and watch the average temp I get with all three. Always have 80-100% hatches

I have a Brower Top Hatch and hadn't figured out how to put more in with the turner. Now I have made a "shelf" of cardboard to hold the thermometers!

I'm glad that you figured out the problem! Here's to a better hatch next time around!

Hi Kitty, Very happy you found something that may of caused the problem.

Looking forward to reading about a healthy successful hatch this time. All the best..

CHEERS!
I have a thermometer that uses one of the plug holes I think it's in the pics of my electric fry pan?
But it works great...far as I know

It has the big round dial/face with a long metal bar under it...that bar fits down in the plug hole.
I believe it's a meat thermometer? maybe a candy? I found it in the greenhouse last year when I moved in.
Yes here it is

Farmer Kitty I think you have a collection of thermometers like I had at one time. I got tired of all that junk being off by 4-5 degrees.

Digitals are the worst. Philadelphia Instruments has and makes incubator thermometers. I bought an ASTM 18F Thermometer 94*F - 108*F in 1/10 divisions for $35.00 plus shipping, best money you will spend! They also have them in 1/5 divisions a little cheaper but might charge a handling fee I think. I use this plus a couple of mercury medical thermometers that are true. I wouldnt give mine for a truck load of these other, I've had them nothing but trouble.
