It goes too fast.

I remember the constant doc thing of his early days all too well, also. My shoulders were both always bruised solid black......one from the apnea monitor and diaper bag, the other from the oxygen tank. Mine was a 1 lb 14 oz preemie....now he is 11 (this is my oldest of 3) and his head comes to the bottom of my nose.

Don't worry though, every year brings new and exciting challenges and developments. The joy and wonder of parenting never goes away, it just changes.

I remmber the apnea machine I didnt hate mine like so many other parents whos kids had one I loved that macine I knew no matter what that I could sleep beacause as long as it wasnt going off for more then a couple seconds he was ok . Im glad ben didnt have oxegen though that would have been nerve wracking for me , but you do what you have to eh. Ben was only 3 weeks early and wieghed in at 6 pounds 3 ounces , one of the biggest babies in the NICU

He looked like a line backer in with jockeys most the other babies there had an avrage wieght of about 3 pounds some smaller some bigger.
I remind my self almost daily to enjoy the new and some times not so fun things he comes up with now that he is 4 lol like telling stories about why there is a puddle on the liveing room rug ect.
