Unfortunately I didn’t!Did you see the parent ducks?
So do I, Those are adorable!!!!!!I don't have any idea what breed they may be. Just wanted to say how cute they are.
I love ducklings.
Yes! That one is the welsh harlequin- from my research there are no other duck breeds that have those type of feathers. Yeah we’ll see for the black one it’s hard to tell what she’ll look like!View attachment 3107305This one is a Welsh Harlequin, which is born out by your having one feather out as a Welsh Harlequin.
The black one I would have guessed was a Black Swedish, but other ducks can start out looking like a Swedish, so just a guess. I don’t think he looks like a runner, but sometimes runners look “wrong”, so who knows?
Also, based on the bill color of the day old Welshie, she’s a girl.
One of those is indeed a Welsh. Also looks like you have a buff. Their feathers can have a gray patterning to them. Looking at the duckling, I would still say it was a black swedish and it doesn't have much of a bib. That or it is a mix. Bib is a common phenotype in mix breed ducks.HI! Everyone I’m here with an update, the ducklings are two weeks old. I think My big guy Chaos is a blue Ancona duck, I suspect a male. I think My little Athena is a black runner duck I believe, and Apollo is feathering out into a welsh harlequin! Does anyone think otherwise? Yes! Thank you for sharing, for the grey one, I gave his mom who is a blue Ancona and he looks a lot like her. Yeah the black one is a mystery we’ll see how she ends up looking. One of those is indeed a Welsh. Also looks like you have a buff. Their feathers can have a gray patterning to them.
