I bought a lot of red sex link eggs. 10 doz Some of these dont look like red sex links lol.

Not sure what the other ones are, but some of the black ones look like Black Sex Links.

When you breed a hybrid, such as a Red Sex Link, you don't get more Red Sex Links, of course. You get an array of birds in white, red, red and white, black, white with red streaks, white with black streaks, etc.

The Sex Link thing is a one time deal. Doesn't work in subsequent generations.

The good news is that they'll be good layers, no doubt.

A red sex link only comes from a Rhode Island Red roo and a Delaware hen.

I am pretty sure the black ones are black sex links though.

When researching sex links i heard that when you breed sex link to sex link you get the parent stock. Is any of that true or is it all false.

If it is true you can breed the parent stock again to get sex link. But if it is not true than i get chicks with stripes

I don't know. Will they maintain there ability to lay in the winter months like the red sex link? I heard they were one of the few breeds that layed in winter.

Also can i make my own red sex link with a white rock? Or is it only a Delaware.

All the questions above are just bonus for me but there is one question i want to know for sure.
