It will make a HUGE difference! It will take you a little while to figure out how the humidity works best for you, but I found that I keep one hole closed, and during hatching, I cover the other halfway with a piece of tape. Keeps it perfect for me... been hatching every week since! LOL

Just FYI, if you get sick of the beeping every 2 hours when it turns, GQF tells me this:
There isn’t any way to turn the speaker down, but you can disconnect it. If you unplug the incubator and remove the top you will see the round noise maker mounted near the thermostat. Just unplug it from the thermostat to turn it off and everything else will function normally.

You will love it! Its built solid as a rock. I got mine a couple weeks ago and love it so far.

I struggled as well, but finally went with the Dickey. Doubt you would be disappointed either way.​
