I bought my chickens at tractor supply and cant determine the sex or breed

I'm trying to determine the sex and breed so I can research more into there presences and needs. Please and thank you

Where did you get them? I see one White Cochin Bantam pullet, two Lavender Orpington cockerels, one Salmon Faverolles pullet, and a Blue Marans pullet (most likely)

The white/brown one is definitely a Salmon Favorelle, probably a pullet. I want one so bad, but have never managed to get my hands on one...

I got them from tractor supply about 2 1/2 months almost 3 months ago. So my understanding is that I have 2 rooster which are cockerels which are the Grey ones?

Yes! The lighter grey are the Orpingtons, darker grey the Marans, light brown the Faverolles, and white the Cochin Bantam

I ordered from Meyer Hatchery this year and was really hoping I got one in the rare breed mix since they were "sold out" of ordering them specifically, lol. Most of the rare breed possibilities were Polish and I didn't get a single Polish either! I did get a Splash Orpington, which is beatiful...but I wasn't thrilled with getting 3 solid white chicks (one is a White Cochin with feathered feet). I don't know that I'll ever order a "grab bag" again though...I'll order pairs or sets of 3 so I know what I have.

The Faverolle is def a pullet as roos at that age are basically black. They are a great breed! What makes you think the Lavender Orps are roos?

The combs and wattles are much too large for a pullet of that age. A pullet wouldn't get them until they were 16+ weeks old

I'm thinking of ordering from a hatchery next year instead of tractor supply since I didn't know they give you whatever and sometimes you can end up with all roosters I'm glad from the 6 I have 2. Now with more research I know I want egg laying chickens
