This year, I decided to buy my own birthday present (so I would get what I really want!)! I want to thank Sandy from Bat Cave Silkies for allowing me to purchase something I've been wanting for a while - a lavender silkie! This pretty boy's name is Nate, and he still has some filling out to do, but I'm very excited to now be able to start my own lavender program! (His lady friend in the photo is Lady Godiva, a black pullet).
Nate and Lady G are currently living in my grow-out room, but they got to hang out in the living room for their photo shoot. Nate enjoyed climbing all over the couch, and Lady G tolerated me giving her a hair cut around her eyes so she could see.
