I bought some new duckies!!!!

I recently purchased 1 pair of ringed teal, 4 Wandering tree ducks, and 1 white mandarin female! It's so nice to be getting back into wild waterfowl! I missed raising these guys so much! Here are a few pics to share.

Quacktastic purchase! Check your ID on those whistling ducks though...those are wanderings, not javans.

Good for you! I got my first ever mandarins this year too...a pair like yours with white hen...so neat

I used to have woodies, manddies, ringed teal, white faced, & hottentot teal. Lost them all a few summers ago when it hit past 105* and then had a fall hurricane! I've moved since and I'm restablishing my wild waterfowl flock. Next purchase will hopefully be some white faced and hottentots! I just got them last Monday and today was the first day that I just got to sit down in my aviary and watch them be themselves! They are so comical!
