I bought some "welsummers"... are they roos???

I can't tell for sure but the newest chick may be a pullet. I don't see the solid black line between the headcap 'V' and the outside and the eye-liner is not as pronounced. However, the 'V' is pretty well defined and not blurred so I'm leaning toward a pullet.

God Bless,

Well I can't believe it! I emailed the breeder to see if I could buy more hatching eggs or chicks, since those turned out to be roos...he needs roos! So I am trading them for some more chickies!!! Woo Hooo! Hope this time I get some girlies!

Unfortunately your birds are roosters. The last chick picture possibly might be a pullet but the view of the top of the head isn't clear enough to be certain. Welsummers are easily sexed at hatch. The pullets will have a dark vee that at the widest point is about 2/3 the width of their heads. The cockerels appear more like a stripe.
