Saran wrap! I worked on a project in a lab where we made transgenic quail... We would essentially move the quail egg into a chicken egg shell and cover the top with saran wrap. You could watch everything develop, amazing to watch. Scientists have tried all sorts of different things, and just keep coming back to Saran wrap!
