I Built A Bridge!

Oh rousseau! Instant baby... No work... Maybe she is just excited? Hopefully?

I am waiting patiently for my dh to come back from the neighbors... My arachnophobia is getting the best of me tonight. Two biiiiiiig spideys right above the door of the school house. I can usually control it, but I have to lean inside to lock the pop door and do a head count. Yeah. Not happening. Hot flashes and all I slammed the door and backed away. Thinking about it makes me shiver! Ahhh! Anything but spiders.

And apparently I struggle with typing when I am having a panic attack over spiders… typos fixed, well, as well as they can be.

Yeah, this is all really intense. I'm mostly hanging out there with her, trying to keep her calm. Luckily Rousseau is really docile. She's mostly being mellow, but I'm worried about her freaking out. The chick is chirping up a storm, but then is quiet for awhile, and I can't tell if it's having trouble getting out or if it's just not ready. I'm trying to take the less active approach after reading about premature assisted hatches, but it's tough! Wish us luck!! I did not plan on two nests!!
I'll have to start a new thread: Hatching with Three Broodies!

Hello Arkansas55! Saw your post a while back and forgot to say hello!!

I don't want to jinx the situation, but it's looking good for little Lucy chick! It's chirping regularly and is mostly out of its shell. It's in no danger of not breathing, because that part is all wide open. So, it'll be it's own fault if it can't kick its legs out! It might even be out now, but I'm trying to not be too bothersome! Rousseau seems to have gotten what's going on and I don't think will hurt it. Again, there's still time for it to all go wrong, but it's looking really good!

Now to come up with a plan for tomorrow. Do I make an impromptu pen for all of them together? Isolate Rou and Lu? I only have one little feeder and waterer!
