Hello everyone!
A month or two ago my dad and I built an incubator out of wood.
Eventually I will make an article about the build.
First we set 42 Easter Egger eggs that were transferred over. A heat spike killed most of the eggs, but 2 eggs hatched. Both chicks unfortunately died young from complications.
But both were male, so...
Now I have set several shipped eggs. I have set Bantam Light Brahmas, D'Uccles and bantam Sicilian Buttercups.
I left for two weeks while the eggs incubated and most of the eggs are due to hatch on Thursday the 16th.
About half are viable. I figured I'd make a thread to follow the hatch and hopeful success of my incubator.
Here's to hoping for some healthy chicks.
