I know this may not be a big deal for some, but for me it's huge.

Now for the question?? Do you put the feed inside the coop or in the run. I put it outside and they two young ones will not go outside unless I go inside the coop and then they only stay out in the run until I'm back out of the coop. Are they just scared and not use to the coop and run and are responding normally after just comming out of the brooder inside the shed.

.. I feed inside my coop.. They will eventually get that its more fun outside just give them, a few days,, oh and treats in the run always seem to help...

You did a wonderful job!! It's looks great!

I think they're a little scared to go out right now, which is understandable. I have feed both inside and out. Inside for those rainy and snowy days when noone wants to go out and outside just because it frees up the inside when it is nice outside.

I never put feed outside. It can get wet in blowing rain and mold and trust me, moldy feed will kill a chicken. Also, wild birds and mice will eat it if it's outside, if they can get in somehow. You did well building it by yourself!

new coop - yippee! looks good :)

I feed regular chicken food inside in a hanging feeder. I throw some scratch, kitchen scraps, grass and plant clippings, etc. out in the run. I also put the water outside to keep the bedding dry inside. I have 2 little bantys that don't come out too often, but for snack and and attention they learn quick.

Have fun!

Beautiful coop. You did a great job. Careful those railroad beams can harbor termites that will invade the wood on your coop.

Pretty darn snazzie

I like the stained, natural wood look. It is much prettier then my converted truck topper.
