I came across a local breeder selling Bantam Silver Phoenixes before I buy I have some questions.

My question is should I purchase a breeding pair? Has anyone had a bad experience with this breed? What should I look for trait wise? Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks. We are wanting a good show quality and the breeder says they are show quality but like I said how can I tell a s.q. chick from a pet quality,or backyard quality?

1, you might do better posing this question on the current Phoenix thread. And wait a day for answers, many people work.2 there is no such thing as a Show Quality chick of any breed. One has to wait until the chicks are well grown even if they are out of Show Quality parents to determine if they are show quality. . Best of luck to you.
