i can hear chicks *updated* my frist one to hatch*

i can hear chicks and some of the eggs are moving around. but none of them are out yet. does this mean they are going to hatch soon?

Have any piped yet ?? It could take up to 24+ hrs till they fully hatch from the time they pip (somtimes the first to pip is the last to hatch)

Are they on day 21 ?

A pip is when they make a hole in the shell (looks like an X)

Did you up your hum on day 18 ? On day 18 you should up your hum to 60%-65% To do this add some water and see how far it goes up !! Give it a little time before adding tons.

No, the holes are fine.... I use the non-slip liner (sold at walmart) to put over the wire just so its a soft for them. Next time you hatch you can try that if you want !!
