I can help with determining gender of your chickens!

I think that she's a pullet, but I"m not the best at silkies so take that with a grain of salt.

No worries! I think she is a hen based on just watching her, she hardly ever stands tall, she only does this if her two brahma friends strayed to far away and she can't find them :). It's funny cause she's a bantam and her brahma friends are going to be full sized and she's currently half their size. Thanks for your help!

I have a barred Plymouth Rock chick but still very young, and I thought there's a way to determine their sex by their head's spot or feet or whatever, can someone help me with that? thank you so much

Hi I have a 11 week old Silkie named Silker, would love to know if I am right to say she's a hen? These pictures where taken at night and she was a little wiggly.
a photo of her standing on a flat surface could help too. cockerels tend to have a more upright stance, while hens tend to squat. not always though... silkies are really hard to sex. But since I don't see streamers or a prominent comb, I say pullet too! :D

but wow, is she really 11 weeks? I have a 9 week old who is so much puffier!

This was him/her at 7 weeks!

She is fluffier during the day this was a fairly rainy day so she was kinda matted. She is also still growing in a fair amount of feathers surprisingly, so im excited to see how poofy she gets.

Ah I see, I usually blow dry mine if they get wet, lol. I often have to wipe two of mine down, because one is white and the other one is... not very good at cleaning themselves.
