I can not believe I had to buy store bought eggs !

I can not wait until I can get more fresh eggs! I will have to wait for 2 weeks, man that's a
Long time when you diet with eggs lol. I sure hope my girls also start laying, there comb and waddles are getting bright red, but still no squatting. I'm so anxious to see if the yolks are nice and bright yellow/orange. We make sure there free roaming from morning until night, lots of bugs my kids catch ( today they caught 56 grass hopers lol) now just the waiting game. Store bought eggs.... Yuck!

My deepest sympathies. Since my own first chickens started laying years ago, had to buy eggs only once, thank goodness.

I feel for you. I am almost out of my eggs I brought with me on our move from Montana to Alabama, but thankfully I have found a local farm with eggs to sell!

I really need to get back to my protein diet......I hope my house closes soon so I can get back to having a backyard flock!

My fingers are crossed for eggs soon!
