Anyone want to take a chance on sexing Peeps. He/she may be about 3 weeks old. We were told about 7 weeks but way too small for that based on comparisons we found on the web. I think the lady was busy with several customers and misquoted the age. Others in the brood tub had some "streamers" coming off the back of the little poof on top of the head. Others like this one did not. This one also had a very round vent unlike some more horizontal ones.

Thanks for responding. I am very new to this. What things are you looking at that are swaying you to the pullet side?

Almost no comb to speak of, although it's still young. It sticks out and is thicker on a cockeral. Might change, but my pullet's comb hasn't change since she was 8 wks. old (when I got her). Breeder showed me how to sex, and it's obvious that now, at the age of 3 mos., she is, in fact, a pullet.

I'll be sharing my pics soon. We hatched 5 silkies. They're only 3.5 weeks now, so probably too young to guess.

This is my DD's fav chick. (probably 3 wks old in pic)

Last year I thought for sure we had a male at 6wks .

She ended up being female but I didn't figure it out until 12 weeks old!
