I can sex silkies.

I can tell because the males have very little fuzz on their head while females fuzz hangs more in there face. The comb helps a little too.

Ok I guess this one doesn't help with gender, but I thought it was an interesting effect.

Thanks.  That's what I'm thinking.  We had 2 other hatch-mates who had very wide combs.  Thankfully our daughter got attached to this one, who has the higher chance of being a pullet.
I'd check back in a few weeks so we can take a look again, but I think there's a good chance you have a pullet there
