I candled the 5 eggs under my broody hen last night. I used a large LED mag light flashlight and just cupped my hand around the egg, so the light was only coming through the egg. She started out with 6, but broke one. They are blue eggs. I saw two with distinct veiny webs and the other 3 were either clear or had a blob in the middle.
I'm so excited for the potential of getting any chicks at all! I guess I'll candle again at 14 days and get rid of any that aren't growing.
