I candled again

A week or so ago I candled and wasn't feeling very optimistic. Out of the first batch set I could tell all my own eggs were developing as were some shipped eggs that went in at the same time....couldn't tell for sure on some since they are all very dark eggs. A few days ago I candled again and the next batch of shipped eggs were mostly clear, one was developing and one had a blood ring

..... Tonight I candled the next 2 batches and looks like some of them are developing. Some of these are the ones that were in the mail 8 days. I took one out that had a blood ring. When I candle I don't always do them all since I don't like to leave the lid open that long. The first ones are due to hatch this coming week-end so keep your fingers crossed for me.

Shipped eggs is really hit and miss. I had 21 sent to me a few weeks ago from a guy in WV. Anyways, half didnt develop and a few look to be iffy. Good luck with the ones next week.

I know shipped eggs are a crapshoot....I guess each time tho I hope that it will be different this time.

Their chances really go down when they are yanked through the postal system for a week, but I hope you do at least get a few to hatch Katy, and you, too Christina! I can't wait till you candle yours.

I know Im just biting my nails. 5 or 6 days till I candle.
