I candled!

I quickly and nervously candled six of the twelve eggs under my broody. They've been under her since Monday night so this is...day 4, almost day 5? We saw veins! And little bitty chick blobs! The green one was hard for me to see through but I wasn't sure if it was empty or not. One of the eggs with poop on it looked like it was getting that bacterial ring thing I've read about...the air sac looked bigger, so we'll just have to wait and see.

Ugh, I'm so bad. I swore I wouldn't jump the gun but I did! And it was neato

I did the same exact thing!
Mine went under the broodies on Monday as well.
I candled tonight and saw veins!
So exciting.
