Well, I've spent most of the day working on the nursery. DH got the changing table put together and the curtain rod installed so I was able to hang the valance. I got the furniture arranged the way I want it, put all the washed baby stuff away in drawers, and steam cleaned the carpet. Just got to figure out how I'm going to hang the comforter on the wall and then I *should* be done. Wow, I'm EXHAUSTED!


Carpet is almost dry... pics to follow soon.

My DH said we were done after the 2nd kid. So you never know

Wow Robin you've been busy.

The babies are going in my room til they get older so I don't have to worry about the nursery until I kick my 2yr old out of it and move them in. Otherwise I would be stressing big time cause I have done nothing to get ready for them.​

I guess I can wish for a big whoops after the big snip snip...... He just has to find his own ride home because I don't want him to have it done.....TMI i guess....sorry, but I will be sad to know my baby days are over after this one. I wanted 6 kids for a long time. Oh well....pitty party anyone?

We're the exact opposite... I WANT my DH to have the big snip snip and I will be more than happy to make the appointment for him, drive him to and from, and be his slave for a weekend.

Dh said he was getting the snip after #4 and put it off then came #5 and he put it off. I even got a c/s with #5 and told him there was no way I was getting my tubes tied he had to do something if he wanted it done.

Now he swears he's getting the big snip once the babies get here. He better cause for the first time I feel done.​

I would think having twins is a lot more work on your body than one baby......glad you are hanging in there and you should get many back rubs, but I think that only happens with the first and second baby....that is what the guys think anyways.

It is and I'm having a very hard time excepting it. I'm a very independent person and never ask for help from anyone but I just can't do alot of things any more. I'm 27 weeks so you would think I would still be ok but I'm not.

I took the 2yr old and 4 yr old to the zoo last week and that night had really bad contractions. I was actually getting ready to head to the hospital because I couldn't talk through them anymore. I jumped in the shower and they finally calmed down and then stopped.

Dh is actually pretty good about this pregnancy and giving me back rubs. When he looks at me he just shakes his head and says he doesn't see how I can get any bigger. I should post a pic sometime because I'm freaking huge! It would make the rest of y'all feel better about how big y'all are getting. lol​

i can relate..
i feel almost helpless these days..luckily if my husband isnt here to help me, my older kids for the most part are really good about doing stuff for me.
it just sucks because there are tons of things i want to be doing right now other than sitting around being huge and doing nothing.
i know one thing, i would hate to be single and pregnant.

I don't know what I would do without the older kids either. They help out so much.

Its killing me right now not to be able to work in my flowerbeds since its nice here now. I told DH if I tried to get down on the ground to weed and plant he would find me in the same spot when he got home from work. lol

But it Is worth it in the end. I keep reminding myself that. I wanted another girl so bad. Now I have 2 to dress up and do their hair. My older 2 girls are not into me doing their hair anymore. I fight with them every morning before school about it and by the time they get home whatever I did was taken out.

I can't even imagine being single and having kids. Or working and being pregnant for that matter.
