So far tonight at work (I'm a vet) I've done 4 surgeries...took out a spleen with a GIGANTIC tumor, did a c-section on a chihuahua, put a dog back together after a bigger dog attacked it, and patched up a gunshot wound to the face. Now I'm moving on to surgery #5...a degloving injury to the foot. Not to mention all the "lesser" emergencies.

This really has nothing to do with being pregnant, except that I'm EXHAUSTED. I'm only halfway, but I can definitely tell I don't have the stamina for standing in the surgery suite that I use to. Just wait until I'm close to full term.

Just thought I'd share. Off to the next surgery!

ha, and here i was patting myself on the back for cooking a decent meal for the first time in 2 weeks!

that is wonderful that you are able to keep up with all that!!!

ok...i bought some evening primrose oil capsules..i have heard that they work and you can start using them at 34 weeks..anyone ever tried them before??

KellyHM- that made me tired just reading it!

I used the evening primrose with #4. I'm not sure it helped but I was 4cm dialated on the day I went in to be induced but I was also having regular contractions too. A friend's midwife swore by them so thats why I tried them. You know he was my easiest delivery and he was 9 1/2lbs. So maybe they did help?

hmmm..well hopefully! i want to get this going!

Ethan's nursery, almost finished!

I found some cute little sheep quilt clips ordered that I'll use to hang the crib quilt on the wall above the changing table. Still debating on some wall art that matches the set, but don't know if I can justify $50 for it.

I just found this thread and I wanted to add that my teacher is expecting soon.

She's having a girl. We just had a big surprise baby shower for her at school and she got lots of adorable baby clothes and toys. My whole class pitched in and gave some money for a $30 gift card to Babies R Us.

She is going to leave in about 5-6 weeks in time to have her baby. I'm sad that she's leaving because we're going to have a long term substitute for the rest of the year. But oh well.

Oh and she's naming her baby Madeline. (Maddy for short).
