Well, today is the beginning of my weekly OB visits, which means the internal exams will be starting soon (if not today). Wonder if I've dilated any yet?

i hear you...i love trying to balance myself on those small tables at the beginning..its even more fun when you are whale sized and doing it!

yep, 3 weeks here for me too, since they are letting me go early..i cant wait, i am miserable!! i want to sleep like a human being again!!!
i just wish we could get through it all without the pain part..

I had a nightmare last night. At my visit the OB started inducing me, without my permission, and then it wasn't just one baby but twins. NIGHTMARE!

Well, my normally 10-15 minute OB appt took 2 hours today. BP was 150/92 and this time the doc ordered a preeclampsia work-up... blood drawn, NST (felt like 2 hours of just that, I got so sleepy doing it!) and I'm having to do a 24 hour urine collection. They would like me to get to 39 weeks but I was told today that I WILL NOT be going past 40 weeks with this pregnancy. So, I WILL have a baby on the 24th, if not sooner. Oh, and I'm a fingertip dilated, so you know what that means happened today.

hey Robin, just wondering what the mattress in the Graco travel cots is like? I've heard that some travel cots have mattresses with cardboard backs, which sounds a bit uncomfortable to me...​

i can answer that as well. they are pretty hard, but that is really good for newborns, you dont want it too soft. also, its easy to clean and you can always put a mattress pad on it if you want it a little bit soft.
