I cant believe its been a year!!

I generally think that all babies need is to be kept clean, warm, fed, and be allowed to sleep when they want

but then, I've never had one so my opinion doesn't have any experience to back it up!

I woke up at 4:00 this morning with a splitting headache. Got up and dutifully called the OB's office, since they have repeatedly told me to be sure to call if I get headaches... I felt one bad enough to wake me up warranted a call. The doctor on call was the one I just saw on Wednesday. She called me back right away and asked if I knew what my BP was (I have no way of knowing that at home). She told me to take 2 extra strength Tylenol and if that didn't take care of the headache to go the hospital. I did, and it did, so here I sit, catching up...

not yet! might just use one of my old bags for the diaper bag, have a travel changing mat anyway so I can put that in it, and put a waterproof bag in it for the dirties. the cream, soap, shampoo, lotion etc is on my list for next time I have some spare-ish cash...
forgot the nail clippers!

I've seen some strange looking things though - does anyone ever actually use that thng to gently suck the mucus out of baby's nose if he/she gets a cold???​

Robin, if your headache comes back then please go to the hospital anyway - or at least to somewhere they can take your BP reading for you. I worry about the risks of high BP!

I've never heard of anyone using them! but then it's not something you'd be telling people about, really, is it? "I had to suck soooooo much snot out of the baby's face last night..."

well, this is it for me! i am in my labor room, waiting for them to bring on the pitocin!!!!!

the amnio went ok but they noticed that there wasnt much fluid and went ahead and decided to induce me.
im so scared everyone!!!

i think they have forgotten about me..still sitting here freaking out!

i am so embarrassed though....i look a mess because i was cleaning and i didnt bother getting prettied up for my appointment because i figured i would come home and finish cleaning..oh well, i took a shower and tried to fix my hair and sent my husband out for some new lipstick and such.
