You're having an evening induction, just like I had. Are they putting a Foley Bulb in you too? It wasn't bad at all. In fact, my whole labor and delivery wasn't bad this go round. Hopefully yours will be the same!

No-I go in at 6 p.m. for Cervidil. I will be induced Tuesday morning, and he will break my water when he starts the Pitocin. My doctor tried the Foley with my 2nd baby and it would not stay in! She put it in 6 times, and as soon as she got done, it came right back out each time. She said I have a "floppy cervix." This is the first time I am going with this doctor, so things are a bit different-I never knew they WOULD break your water when they started Pit, but he says it makes labor go MUCH faster. He has a VERY low C-section rate, which is fine with me! He has delivered over 8,000 babies, so I guess he knows what he is doing by now!
My doc wanted to break my water when they started the Pit but he said the baby was too high... "up in Canada" is how he put it
so he couldn't, which was fine with me. When it finally broke on its own it sounded like a cork coming out of a bottle of champagne! Are you getting an epidural?
I will if I feel I need it, but I want to go as long as I can without it. I am going to try to go without one this time. I had one with each of my last 2, but I want to see if I CAN go without one!
head downwards already. no wonder i feel a bit odd down there! So yeah, they said he could stay there happily for the rest of the time until due date and beyond but he could also ready to go at any moment. He is definitely following his daddy - not got my small legs any more, but still got his dad's small head rather than my large one. Looks like I'm having a long thin baby rather than short and broad like I am
