You're not cheap, you're practical! I wasn't planning on buying a nursery set, but since I was able to get mine USED and for a good price, I couldn't pass it up. Her set included...

comforter
blanket
2 sheets
dust ruffle
bumper
2 valances
rug
mobile
diaper stacker
5 wall hangings
night light
lamp + shade
growth chart

PLUS

about a half dozen little stuffed animals that match (I'll put on a shelf or on the dresser)

AND

hand painted wood cut-outs of the barn and all the animals, except the horse, to make a barnyard scene on a wall. Oh, there is even a little piece of fence for a chicken to perch on!

How could I pass that up? I'll be sure to take pics of it once I get the room done.

Okay, I bought one of those belly bands , so I could continue wearing my regular jeans, and today is the first day I've tried it out. It does pretty good, but I feel awkward whenever I have to bend over because my jeans are wide open (unbuttoned and unzipped) underneath it. Is anyone else using one these? What do you think?

Get a soft nursing bra (they make some really comfortable ones at Motherhood Maternity) and get some cloth breast pads. Cloth is soft and comfortable, and you can just wash and reuse rather than buying them and throwing them away all the time.

I think leaking is the only downside to nursing! I slept on a towel for the first two months after the baby was born because I made waaaaaaaaay too much milk.

If it makes you feel any better I also had a large bleed (bigger than the gestational sac) next to the baby around 7 weeks and passed a lot of blood/clots. The doctor told me it was just something that happens in a fair amount of pregnancies and MOST of the time it's nothing to worry about. I'm now 13 weeks and it has totally resolved. Good luck with everything!

thanks, it does help to know I'm not the only one.
I'm in so many "at risk" categories I can't even let myself think about the odds.
congrats on your baby though

Don't let yourself worry.. Hard i know. Eat right and lots of rest. I'll be praying for you.

it's hard to eat right when food maks me nauseous

taking my recommended supliments and eating what I can keep down. about the only thing I can guarantee to eat is bread and oranges. Strangely desperate for junk food though (there's no mcdonalds or anything for miles, so I won't be eating any), and if I'm hungry later I can get my fiance to cook me something.

thank you for the prayers

what helped me with my morning sickness was taking antihistimines and vitamin b 6 pills! i wish i wouldve known about that when i was pregnant with my others...the best part is they work instantly and knock out the nausea.
