oh yes, i dont have the patience to wait!
i also have to take a one hour glucose test early..even though i have never had gestational diabetes..its because all of my kids except one were 10 pounds and he thinks that i might have had it, but no..i just have big kids! i am a pretty large lady and my husband is 6'4 so we tend to have fat babies.
oh well, i like the orange tasting pop they give you anyways.

I've had a couple of pretty bad headaches that I'm sure were from the hormones. 2 extra strength Tylenol and sleep took care of the worst one, the other one I just suffered through.
i should say, i get them 5 out of 7 days. if i dont take the meds the dr gave me, they dont go away, just get worse till i am sick and dizzy. tylenol was no help, i wish. i try to tought it out, but i cant. it is related to hormones now though, cuz i started getting them at my monthly after the last baby, but Man, i cant TAKE it anymore. dr insists theyre migraines. theyre NOT. i was just SO hoping someone else had these problems. i think i ll see if we can scrounge up the money for a chiropractor or HEY anyone ever try Accupuncture??
i know one thing, i will never go to a chiropractor for anything pregnancy related..i was going to go to one for back pain, and this guy was practically telling me that by the magic of chiropractics, he could cure labor pain, cancer, and world hunger!
very annoying.
one thing that helps my husband with headaches is having a humidifier in the room at night.

Oh wow, that really stinks! Why do you say they aren't migraines? I get hormone related migraines, started getting them when I got my monthly back after my 11 year old was born. Mine usually start with my neck tightening up, which is the only warning sign I get. I didn't have any with my last pregnancy (8 years ago), and so far so good with this one. But I did read that some women get them very bad during pregnancy.
oh and i dont know why i didnt mention this before..every single spring, my husband gets headaches bad enough he pukes for an hour straight! they last about a month or so then they are gone. the only thing that helps is going to the ER and getting an oxygen treatment. they finally gave him a prescription for oxygen and it really helped him through it.
I had my Nuchal Translucency ultrasound and Free Beta-HCG/PAPP-A blood tests done today. Praise God, I got good results so far! The doctor said the measurements during the ultrasound were "nearly perfect" which means there is a very good chance that there are no Trisomy defects. Also, he could see the skull and it it is perfectly formed, the spine looked good, he could see the bladder and stomach, both looked good. Baby was VERY active, jumping all around and waving little arms. The heartbeat was 176 bpm. PRAISE GOD!
Here is a pic of the ultrasound pic... I don't have a scanner and had to use my camera so I could share, so it isn't the best...
In my pic you can see the nose and little closed eyes. His/her right arm and hand is up near the face. In the next pic, he/she has both hands over his/her eyes... like playing peek-a-boo. Awwwww!
