Hi all! Just thought I'd check in and say hey. I'm 10 weeks today, so way behind most of you! I have my first official OB appt today (but my mom works in the office, so I snuck in an ultrasound earlier). From the first ultrasound I should be due August 8th. I can't believe I'm 1/4 of the way there already.

Well I have 7 weeks left as of today, I am so ready for have Lillian here. The nursey is almost done. I still need to wash her clothes. The last several weeks seem to go so slow.

I have been good. Lillian has found my ribs. She doesn't kick them all the time but does have her spells. My son never kicked them. I only work one day a week now, which is really nice. I just wish the weather would warm up. The warmest day this week is going to be 25 F. It makes a lot more work on me to keep all the animals happy during these cold days.

Is painting the baby's room really that big of deal? My mom is just freaking out on me that we haven't paint her room and may not. She is just hot about it. The babys gonna be in our room at first anyway. She is saying she is going to buy the paint and do it herself!!!

How do you deal with overbearing parents?

I have painted both of my children's room when I was pregnant. I got the lowest odor paint I could get. Make sure you have enough fresh air and you should be fine. My son is just fine. The most problems I had was holding my arms up but that was it.

I didn't paint my first ones room till they were 1 yr old. The one on the way I made hubby paint its room before christmas.
