a small case of the ready to feed formula for the first week, its so convenient
bassinet..the bed can come later or now, whatever is best for you
if you get the bed now, get bumper pads (i dont care what the latest trend says, your baby will get his legs stuck in the bars if you dont!)
diaper bag
baby tylenol
mylicon drops
gentian violet!! almost all babies get thrush, save yourself time and money and a trip to the doctor and go to
walmart and ask for this. its a dollar a bottle and when he or she gets thrush, paint the mouth with it and it will be gone very fast. its the same thing the doctor uses.
receiving blankets
cloth diapers for burping
snot sucker thing (the hospital will probably give you one)
gowns
booties
car seat
head rest thingie for car seat
baby tub with sponge baby holder
ummm.....onsies to go under the gowns unless its warm, then you can let them sleep in those with a light blanket on top
a swing..a regular swing will do to keep them happy and content.
a decently large lightweight blanket to put over carseat at the store...too many weirdos just love to come up and touch the baby unsolicited and its very aggravating!!
