I spent the whole day being monitored in hospital - and there was nothing wrong with me which I told them before that! why is lying around with fetal monitors on so exhausting?

I'm here! No babies on this end yet. I have started to hit the stage where I feel worn out more easily and my ankles are starting to hurt after being on my feet all day. No swelling yet though.

No babies yet here either BUT I'm pretty sure I'm in labor. My contractions have started getting closer together and nothing I've done stops them!

I woke DH up and made him get everything ready just in case it was for real. I hope to make it at home long enough to get my kids off to school, in about 1 1/2 hours before I need to go to the hospital.

Can someone try to help me figure out what I'm going through?

Started yesterday feeling okay- just a little backache here and there. Yesterday afternoon it progressed and so did period like cramping. Ive had it before, and it usually works its way gone in a couple of hours....last night I threw up, and both backache and cramping got worse. I did eat and drink, although I didn't feel like it. It finally stopped for a few hours around 3:30am, so I thought everything is okay. Right now it's almost 7am and the pains have come back (more cramping than backache), but it wasn't as bad as last night.

I've had BH's for sure, but only a handful that I actually noticed my stomach getting hard and I've lost my breath on some of them.

Are these signs of labor? I'm only 33w 4d.....had diarrhea Sunday night, and this cramping/backache thing started to kick up since yesterday....

Hun, call your doctor.ASAP. those are signs of impending labor and you need to be seen quickly, that baby needs to bake longer. Good luck!

Going to OB in a little bit....just got to wait for my grandma to pick me up because Im not wanting to drive myself incase something happens.

Called DH and left a voicemail- he's in school and won't get it for a while.....

Prayers going up-I hope everything will be okay with you and the baby. It also could be gallbladder problems. I had mine removed when I was 4 months pregnant with my second daughter. It is very painful and worse than labor any day!

Well spent all day in the OB.... Hooked up to the monitors and went through two IV bags. I had a very irritable uterus. The Dr. was nice and he gave me some sort of shot that made me go loopy (I still am somewhat) and I forgot what they gave me...can only think they started with a D and E.

So now I feel better and no more cramping and backache. Cervix is still long and tight.

Thanks for the thoughts and prayers.
