.....how much these things crap!!! They're like 2 days old. I changed the paper towels about 8 before I went to work. It looked like a brown carpet when I came home about 3:30!!!! I'm worried about later on this summer, very worried...

Try switching to pine shavings, you won't have to clean up after them so often.

i put mine in a cage with wire bottom for the first 3 weeks. that way, the poop doesn't stick around and the chicks won't try and eat it. and it's easier to keep clean.
